Witness appeal after suspected road rage incident in Leamington

The incident occurred between Crown Way and Lillington Road on Tuesday March 7. A silver Volkswagen Golf GTI is reported to have driven behind the victim’s car and flashed their headlights.

The driver of the Golf is then believed to have overtaken the victim’s car and just before the turn for Wathen Road and braked sharply, causing them to stop abruptly.

At this point, the man driving the Golf got out of his car and is reported to have punched the victim’s vehicle, causing damage to the car before driving away.

The man is described as a black, 5’6” tall and of medium build, with short black hair and stubble.

Investigating officers are asking any members of the public who witnessed the incident, saw a car matching the description in the area or anyone who may have dash cam footage to contact them on 101 and quote incident number 93 of March 7.
