Warwick school children got creative to design pictures for the set of this year’s festive play at the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC).
Costume and set designer Colin Richmond met the arty Year 5 pupils at Newburgh school after asking children for 20 paintings to use in the Stratford theatre’s showing of Wendy and Peter Pan.
The artwork will be used in nursery scenes featuring the Darling children after being sensitively designed to suit a household in 1909 when the play is set.
Mr Richmond said he was “delighted” to have the school involved in bringing the family story to life.
The play runs at the RSC until January 31.
