The Firefighters Charity is down to the final three in the Leamington Sainsbury’s store Charity of the Year and calling for your votes to make it to number one.

The charity helps workers and their families following injury and illness, in hope of getting firefighters back to work and through tough times.

Group Commander, Ian Tonner said: “The Firefighters Charity helped me and my family following my wife being diagnosed with cancer, we visited their recuperation centre to get away from it all for a week; they funded the trip which just let us get our heads around the diagnosis and also enable my wife to relax after some tough treatment.

“I hope that the people of Warwickshire help the charity to become the number one charity with Sainsbury’s in Leamington the funds raised will help other families like mine to cope during the hard times.”

Voting is now open online here and if successful, the supermarket and charity will work together for fundraising in the next 12 months.
