Two trapped victims rescued after M40 crash

Two victims had to be rescued by fire crews after the car they were travelling in crashed on the M40 on Sunday June 5.

The car came off the road on the southbound side of the motorway between junction 13 Bishop’s Tachbrook and junction 12 Gaydon at around 2.30am.

Firefighters had to use specialist cutting equipment to remove the car’s roof and free the two casualties, which took around 90 minutes.
