The finalists for the Worthies, Kenilworth’s unique awards ceremony, have been announced in each category after over 1800 votes were counted and verified.
The top three with the most votes in each category will now be assessed by an external judging panel, with the winners being announced in May 2016.
The finalists in each category are as follows:
Business of the Year: Fitness Worx Gym and Personal Training, Kenilworth Castle and Elizabethan Gardens, Waitrose.
Small Business of the Year: Aunty Agatha’s, Crustum, The Treehouse Bookshop.
Business Person of the Year: David Garlick – Kenilworth Barbers, Denise Knight – Curves Gym, Gemma Owen – Stitched Up.
Restaurant of the Year: Ego, Pomeroys, The Indian Edge.
Retailer of the Year: Leyes Lane Pharmacy, Paul Crowe (Crowe and Sons Butchers), The Treehouse Bookshop
Sports Team of the Year: Kenilworth Girls Tag Rugby, Kenilworth Runners, Kenilworth Wardens Warriors/Braves
Young Entrepreneur of the Year: Gemma Owen – Stitched Up, Jack Gibson – Fitness Worx Gym and Personal Training.
Organisation of the Year: Helping Hands, Kenilworth Round Table, The Treehouse Bookshop.
Pub of the Year: The Engine, The Gallery, The Tiltyard.
