Children have kick-started the year with a health boost thanks to a six-week sports programme.
The Support Sport sessions brought extra-curricular games to children aged between nine and 11 in four Kenilworth schools.
Funded by Warwick District Council, the project was aimed at keeping young people active and get them interested in sports.
Running throughout January the sessions included handball, volleyball, tri-golf and dodge ball.
Praising the scheme, Cllr Sue Gallagher, portfolio holder for cultural services, said: “Warwick District Council is pleased to be funding Support Sport.
“The aim of our sports grants are to encourage new opportunities for residents of the district to get active and this project is a really good example of encouraging young people to take an interest in sport.”
