Youth workers and volunteers have climbed up to one of the UK’s highest peaks while all dressed as Father Christmas to raise much-needed funds for vulnerable and disadvantaged young people across Warwickshire.
The team from Warwickshire Association of Youth Clubs (WAYC) set off to Mount Snowdon last Wednesday where they walked for seven miles through wind and rain to climb the mountain.
The Santas up Snowdon challenge has so far raised more than £700 for the cause .
WAYC has produced a video of the team on the challenge, which can be viewed on the organisation’s Facebook page.
