Police hunt Leamington man after two cars set alight in Warwick

Warwickshire police have released an image of a man they want to talk to in connection with an arson in Warwick.

Police are looking for Tom Michael Weedon, aged 21, from Leamington, after two cars were set on fire in the Chase Meadow area of Warwick at approximately 5am on Saturday morning.

Warwickshire Fire Service said it received a number of 999 calls reporting two cars on fire in Yeats Drive, Warwick.

Two fire engines from Leamington attended the scene but due to the large number of calls being received and callers saying the fire was spreading to the house, a further fire engine from Kenilworth was sent.

The fire service said there was one car on the road and one on the driveway which was affecting the house.

Police are appealing to members of the local community who may have seen Mr Weedon, or who have information regarding his whereabouts, to call them on 101 or by calling Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
