Police called to a possible kidnap near Warwick - but it turned out to be a family row
Officers said the call from the member of the public was 'with good intent'
Police were called to a possible kidnap near Warwick last night (Saturday) - but it turned out to be just a family row.
A member of the public reported seeing suspects fighting on the hard shoulder of the M40 at Warwick services motorway and one man force the other into a Blue Porshe and drive off.
Police eventually stopped the vehicle near junction 9 of M40 with help from officers from Thames Valley Police.
A police spokesperson said: "The vehicle turned out to all in order, father/son argument. A call with a good intent."
