Brian Carter died of Covid-19 on February 18 2021 having caught the virus at Warwick Hospital while receiving treatment for something else. His daughter Susan said: "He was a loving husband, dad and grandad. He was as stubborn as a mule but he had a great sense of humor. He is a big loss to all of us."

Nicola Shaw sent in this photo of her father Albert George Johnson, who died of Covid-19 in April 2020 aged 74. Nicola said: "You were a hero to your children and grandchildren. We love and miss you everyday. Our memories will go on, love you xx."

Former Whitnash mayor and a stalwart councillor for the town Bernard Kirton, affectionately known as the 'Whitnash Rottweiler', died aged 84 at Warwick Hospital on Tuesday April 7 last year as a result of contracting Coronavirus.
