The brainchild of the Council’s Green Spaces team, BandStand Together is an online gig which will be recorded at a future date on the newly restored bandstand in the Pump Room Gardens.

To provide the playlist, the council is making a call to people in the district to dedicate a song to someone who has made a difference in the community, or has had a particularly difficult time due to the pandemic.

A selection of the dedicated songs will be performed by musicians who the council is inviting to play for a nominal fee.
