She dedicated her life to her family; husband (for 58 years) John, and children Kay, Rachel, Jonathan and Matthew. She also left behind seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Before dedicating herself to bringing up her family, Margaret was a nurse at Northampton General Hospital, and later in life taught and trained in first aid and nursing at Leamington College of Further Education. This career choice clearly reflects her compassionate and caring approach to life.

Messages of sympathy consistently referred to her always thinking of others, making them feel welcome and the friendship she freely gave.

A published poet, and active member of the Leamington Literary Society, she passed on her creative talents to her children, and she was immensely proud of their achievements; we all know how much we owe to her.

A committed Christian, attending St. Paul’s Church, her faith brought her much strength throughout her life and great comfort during her final days.
