The brainchild of two young Kenilworth entrepreneurs is on display on a Cardiff billboard, with a message of hope over fear during lockdown.

As we have previously reported, Ciara (20) and Seanna (17) Hamill were so concerned that their key worker mum could not buy hand sanitiser at the outbreak of the coronavirus, they took matters into their own hands and set up their own company - SanHanz - which has been helping people across the community.

Since then the sisters have become one of the nine UK winners - and the only winners in the West Midlands - of a national billboard campaign, that celebrated innovation and hope not fear - throughout the Covid pandemic.

Currently the billboard is sitting in Cardiff city centre and proudly displays the girls' efforts.

The competiton was run by S3 Advertising Agency and spokesperson said: "Worried their key worker mum couldn’t buy hand sanitiser, Ciara and Seanna Hamill got creative and produced it themselves.

"We're #CelebratingCreativity shown by them because SanHanz has since been given to health workers for free and sold to help support food banks."

They have been selling their product at Kenilworth Rugby Club - and now, following their success, Premiership club Wasps allowed to set up outside the Ricoh Arena last Sunday.

Twenty per cent of the proceeds from the non profit organisation goes to food banks.
