Pair dance along all of Two Castles Run course

A pair of morris dancers found a unique way of taking on the Two Castles Run held last weekend.

Kenilworth dancers Clare Watters and Val Herlihy, of Chinewrde Morris Dancers, morris danced along the whole course.

Folk musician Will Pound played the melodeon alongside them to keep them energised and to entertain other runners and spectators.

The three then met up with other team members after the run and danced on, despite the rain, to entertain the crowd that had gathered outside Kenilworth Castle.

Claire said: “We really enjoyed it - we had such lovely support from everyone along the way and hopefully we brought smiles to lots of faces

“We were raising money for our team’s charity this year, Sands, the stillbirth and neonatal death charity.”
