A crash involving a 4x4 towing a caravan and a car has caused traffic to come to a standstill on the southbound A46 towards Longbridge Island this afternoon (Tuesday July 5).

The crash left the 4x4, a Land Rover Discovery, on its side and the caravan in the central reservation.

An ambulance was quickly on the scene at 3.25pm and took two patients to Warwick Hospital with suspected minor injuries.

There are no road closures in place, but traffic is moving very slowly. Workers are on hand to repair the damage to the central reservation.
