Tracey and Chloe Witts.

Tracey and Chloe Witts, who write the blog The Creative Pair, are together one of six finalists in ‘best craft’ category of the Mum and Dad section of the MAD Blog Awards, the UK’s biggest and most established awards for bloggers, run by parent blogger site Tots100.

Tracey home educates Chloe due to her high functioning autism and PDA (pathological demand aviodance) - and in The Creative Pair, they write about their experiences and also offer free children’s crafts, sewing and baking ideas.

Tracey said: “I started writing my blog when I gave up my creative business and my part-time job to home educate my daughter due to her struggles and lack of support in mainstream school. I first started to write about our journey but our creative side slipped in and we have been writing and sharing our creative ideas together ever since.

“It has opened up a world of opportunity for both me and my daughter.”
