The eagerly anticipated Marco Pierre White restaurant will start taking bookings this weekend - with just weeks left before its opening which is hoped to draw more visitors into the town.
The New York Italian will open inside the Holiday Inn in Smalley Place - in a move anticipated to add to the reputation of Kenilworth as a town for quality food and drink.
Work is now underway to transform the restaurant and Louise Sheepy, deputy manager at the hotel, said: “With the open date getting closer, we’re all very excited.
“The interior is starting to take shape, the kitchen staff are all being trained and prepared for the Marco’s menu.
“We are looking forward to being able to introduce such a great culinary brand to our guests, friends and the area.”
The big name will add to the existing Michelin star awarded to The Cross, as well as a range of popular bars, restaurants and pubs which help set the town aside as a tourism destination across the district.
Bookings can now be made and the new restaurant will be open to both hotel guests and members of the public.
