Marco Pierre White impressed diners in Kenilworth with fun and fine dining to showcase his new town restaurant.

As well as getting chance to have kitchen aprons customised by the star, it was chance for fans to try out the new menu.

Speaking about the business venture, Marco said: “For me dining out is about three things: affordability, glamour and fun.

“This is exactly what Marco’s New York Italian is all about. We want customers to dine with us, enjoy the surroundings and have fun.”

The restaurant in the Holiday Inn opened in February and is managed by Sam Blacklock who said Marco’s visit made for an “unforgettable afternoon”.

“It was an incredible experience to welcome Marco to the restaurant,” she said. “And it has been a privilege to introduce him to some of our valued customers. We have had a fantastic response from the public.”
