Police are appealing for information after an attempted break-in at Eden Croft in the early hours of Friday morning.

Offenders tried to get into the house at around 2am on August 28, but fled after disturbing the people inside.

The resident described how they heard noises in the night and so turned on the lights before going downstairs to see what was happening.

They then found the kitchen window and back door to the utility room had been damaged, with the handle having been removed along with the door lock.

Offenders did not get into the house after being disturbed, but officers are appealing for witnesses - as well as warning others to be aware of criminals.

Anyone with information should contact officers on 101 or Kenilworth Safer Neighbourhood Team on 01926 684404.
