Kenilworth shop window display winner announced

The winner of last week’s shop window display competition has been announced by Kenilworth Town Council.

Bowkay Design in Randall Road was declared the winner with its Halloween-themed display which included a full-sized witch, a cauldron full of eyes, and a coffin.

The display was deemed to have the ‘wow-factor’ by the judges, who also praised its clever design and use of colour.

Sew Arty in Station Road was the runner-up with its autumn-themed display complete with rustling leaves and coloured fabrics, and Headway in The Square was in third place with another Halloween-themed display, and.

Cllr Pat Cain said: “Thank you to all the retailers who entered, we hope our shoppers appreciate all the efforts the retailers in the town have taken to brighten up our chilly, damp Autumn days.”

The next competition will be held on Friday November 27.
