Kenilworth Rotarians rewarded after long service

Two Kenilworth Rotarians have been rewarded after almost half a century of community and international service with new honours and responsibilities.

Peter Roberts has been made district governor of the prominent Rotary 1060 district, and Pauline Smart, who belongs to Rotary’s sister group Inner Wheel, is now chair of District 6.

The two groups contain nearly 90 clubs in the Midlands with a total membership of over 2,600.

Town mayor Cllr Richard Davies congratulated the two Rotarians and paid tribute to their organisations and their purpose in putting service first.
