Proud chefs are celebrating after showing off their skills and scooping top places in a national cookery competition.
Iain Miller, head chef at the Woodside, was awarded first place in the UK Copper Skillet competition for the second time this year.
Mitchell Leech, senior chef de partie, won second place, as well as being declared junior category champion.
The pair from the Glasshouse Lane venue battled it out at the cook-off, having half an hour to produce a dish from a mystery bag of ingredients.
It was run by the International Association of Conference Centres.
Mr Miller, said: “I am extremely proud, especially as I am the first chef to have held the title twice now. What makes me even prouder is that my chef de partie, Mitch, was awarded second place.”
They will now represent the UK at the European heats.
