Kenilworth Chamber of Trade elected director of Pack Smart Ltd Seanna Holland as its new chair at its recent AGM, replacing Richard Hales after his three years in the role.
Seanna, who was vice-chair for the last three years, said she was “delighted” to be elected.
She added: “We’ll be running the Worthies again, which is going to be held annually. We’re also looking at giving the Business Expo a revamp, and we’ll continue to support the ‘Buy One Present in Kenilworth’ campaign.
“The groundwork that Richard’s put in over the last three years has given us a great foothold.”
Richard Hales said he was proud of what he achieved and thought Seanna was a great choice to follow him as chair.
He said: “The last three years have been exceptional. We’ve doubled our membership in that time and achieved everyhting we set out to achieve.
“I think Seanna will be brilliant as chair and will carry on the good work we started.”
Jeremy Wright MP said: “Richard has been an outstanding chair of the Chamber.
“He has brought real enthusiasm, innovation and dynamism to the role, along with a great sense of humour, and I know that Seanna Holland will take the Chamber to new height during her office.”
The full committee for the next three years is as follows: Chair - Seanna Holland, Vice Chair - Mark Harwood, Treasurer - Anita Dalton, Secretary - Liz Williams, Membership Secretary - Tracey Hudson, Newsletter - Angela Roberts, Social Media and Events - Ben and Cara Pickering.
