Guides need new members
A Kenilworth guide unit would like more girls to join up after numbers attending have dipped.
The 6th Kenilworth Guide unit recently celebrated its 47th birthday, and current members have encouraged new members to join following the celebrations.
Girlguiding Castle Division Commissioner Nicola Lomas said: “The girls have expressed that they love the opportunities guiding has given them, it also teaches them respect for others and it’s an opportunity to make new friends.”
It is open to all girls aged 10 to 14 and meets at St John’s Church in Warwick Road on Fridays from 7.30 to 9.30pm.
