A FOOD Fair full of offers, tasters, demonstrations and guest speakers will take place at The Kenilworth Festival on Saturday May 14.

The festival’s first ever food fair will be set up in the marquee in Abbey Fields between 10am and 3.30pm.

The fair will offer tasters, a variety of stalls, demonstrations and talks.

Smoothie will be promoting its new family cook book Innocent Hungry? A recipe book which provides information on how to feed families good food.

Kerstin Rodgers, who is also known as Ms Marmite and runs the Underground Restaurant in London, will be giving a cooking demonstration, and talk about her first recipe book Supper Club recipes and Notes from the Underground, and Niki Segnit will talk about her Thesaurus of Food Flavours.

Waitrose will be showcasing Delia and Heston recipes to show how easy yet effective they are, and the Holiday Inn and The Almanack will be providing a demonstration dish.

As well as the marquee, Warwick Road will be turned into a continental food market.

Tickets costing £5, available from Kenilworth Books in Talisman Square, provide entry for talks and book signings by both Niki Segnit and Kerstin Rodgers.
