Family pays tribute to Wootton Wawen crash victim

The family of a motorcyclist who died in a collision in Wootton Wawen on Monday April 25 has paid tribute to a 'loving' and 'wonderful' son and 'doting father'.

Robert Loach, 27, of Birmingham Road, Redditch, died in the crash when his motorbike collided with a car on the A3400 Stratford Road.

He leaves behind his partner, Lian, and his two children aged one and three.

Lian said: “Robert was the world’s most doting father, a loving and wonderful son and brother to seven cherished siblings.

“He was also a good friend to anyone that got to know him. He was my rock and my soul mate, the love of my life and I love him more than I could possibly say.”

Robert’s mother, Sam, said: “Robert was my first born son, a truly wonderful, inspirational person and most loving son.”

A man was charged with causing death by dangerous driving and appeared in court on Wednesday April 29.

Warwickshire Police are still investigating the collision. Anyone with any information should call police on 101.
