Actors are wanted to get in character and head to the stage for two productions in the town over the summer.

The Priory Theatre is holding open auditions for its upcoming productions of The Importance of Being Earnest and A Chorus of Disapproval.

Directors are hoping to attract talent from across Kenilworth to help bring the stories to life - as well as for help backstage for the performances.

Artistic Director, Mark Jefferies said: ‘We are extremely pleased to be taking on two such exciting plays, by such renowned playwrights.

“Both plays have large and varied casts and we are certain that they will be popular with our audiences.”

Auditions for Oscar Wilde’s classic stage show will be held at the Rosemary Hill theatre on Sundays April 19 and 26.

For A Chorus of Disapproval, all potential actors will be seen over two weekends on May 24 and 31.

All are welcome to come along and take part to boost talent on the stage.
