The Priory Theatre will help find a cure for cancer as the curtain goes up on a one-off charity fundraiser.
The theatre will dedicate a performance of Yes, Prime Minister on February 10 to Cancer Vaccines Charitable Trust (CVC).
All proceeds will go to the town-based group which supports research into preventing and curing cancer.
As well as chance to help raise funds, the night will introduce the husband and wife behind the project, Dr John and Dr Sarah Maudsley who are developing innovative treatment.
Their treatment is nearing initial trials for patients suffering from pancreatic cancer but more funds are needed to continue their ground-breaking research and development with patient trials costing around £7,500 per case.
CVC is ramping up its fundraising activity and this event will help to treat and cure more people with cancer. It is inviting residents to come along and meet the organisers to find out more.
Tickets £12 from 07920 235 565 or the box office at priorytheatre.co.uk or 863334.
The evening will include a raffle and light refreshments.
