Teenager from Leamington arrested on suspicion of drug offences

Plain clothed officers spotted the teenager acting suspiciously

A 16-year-old boy from Leamington was arrested on Tuesday (May 4) on suspicion of drug offences.

Plain clothed officers from Proactive CID spotted a boy acting suspiciously in Bury Road in Leamington at around 2.56pm. 

The boy was detained for search under the Misuse of Drugs Act.

During the search suspected Class A drugs were found, as well as a sum of cash and a mobile phone.

As a result the boy was arrested on suspicion of Possession of a Controlled Drug with Intent to Supply.

He was later released on bail pending further investigations.
