Anti-vaccine protesters have vandalised signs at vaccination centre for Warwick and Kenilworth residents.

The vandals sprayed the word 'hoax' on the signs that directed people to the new centre at the Ramada Hotel on the edge of Leamington and Kenilworth.

To cause more danger and confusion, they covered the directions and the word 'vaccination' on some of the signs.

While such mindless acts will not derail the success of the vaccination programme both locally and nationally, they are certainly not welcomed by the hard-working medical staff and volunteers, who have been working around the clock to get everyone vaccinated.

The Ramada Hotel has replaced the Warwickshire Golf Club as the venue for the Primary Care Network Covid-19 Vaccination Centre.

Anyone with any information on the vandalism can call Warwickshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 172 of 8 May.
