Concerts in the Castle returns to Kenilworth

Concerts in the Castle returns to Kenilworth on Saturday June 11 with a show from two critically-acclaimed folk duos.

Two-time BBC Radio 2 Folk Award winners Greg Russell and Ciaran Algar will feature alongside Will Pound and Eddy Jay, whose debut album has been lauded by several online publications.

Victoria Mier, owner of the Tree House Bookshop who hosts several folk gigs there, said: “Will Pound and Eddy Jay played a sold out concert at the bookshop in May and they were spectacular.

“I can’t wait to see them in a venue like the Stables alongside Greg Russell and Ciaran Algar. These are truly four of the most talented folk musicians of their generation.”

This coming show follows two similar concerts held in February 2016 and September 2015.

It will once again be held in the Stables in Kenilworth Castle, and doors open at 7.30pm.

Proceeds from the event will go towards the Kenilworth Arts Festival, which will take place this September.

Tickets cost £15 and can be bought from the Tree House Bookshop or at concertsinthecastle.co.uk
