Christine Addison, who lived in Rugby and worked in Leamington, died at the age of 36 in January last year - and had raised thousands of pounds for others during her final years.

Her twin sister Rachel Hoggins, who has carried on Christine’s legacy of fundraising, said: “I feel lost without Christine in my life - like a huge chunk of me has disappeared. I miss her amazing strength and positivity, her caring words and love-filled hugs.

“I am definitely not the same without her. Our togetherness was so natural.”

The Summer Charity Ball will be held at the Holiday Inn in London Road, Ryton-on-Dunsmore, on July 15 from 7pm to 1am. Tickets cost £55 including a three-course dinner, free bar, table magician, Michael Buble tribute, DJ music and raffle.

Rachel said: “Christine loved nothing more than having an excuse to go out to buy a beautiful dress. She would light up the room with her presence and would have completely loved the occasion.”
