Bus with Kenilworth School pupils on board in crash with lorry near Baginton

Warwickshire Police said the crash between the 534 Johnsons bus and the lorry happened at around 8.15am in Bubbenhall Road.

Police confirmed the children and the driver were not injured, and the children were picked up after the crash.

A spokesman for Kenilworth School said: “We’re pleased to say all our pupils are safe.”

And a spokesman for Johnstons Coaches said: “This incident is under investigation. We are really pleased with the evasive action our driver took to avoid a more serious collision. There were no injuries and the children continued to school. A replacement bus is on the 539 service.”
