More than 50,000 people have now had the first dose of a Covid-19 vaccine in the Warwick district.

Latest NHS figures show 49,764 have had the jab up to February 28 - and with vaccinations continuing, we can expect that the figure is now above the 50,000 mark.

Last week, we reported that the figure stood at 42,751 (which covered the period from December 8 to February 21).
