Blending funk with social observation, post-punk band the Blockheads return to the Assembly in Leamington on Wednesday.
They played to a large crowd at the Spencer Street venue in November as part of their 30th anniversary tour.
The group shot to fame in the 1970s with their late lead singer Ian Dury and are known for the hits Hit Me With Your Rhythm Stick and What a Waste.
Paul McCartney and Robbie Williams are among the artists they have since worked with.
Chaz Yankel, who wrote the music for Dury's lyrics, is one of the original band members still on the road – the others being co-writer and keyboard player Mickey Gallagher, John Turnbull and Norman Watt-Roy. The band's 'new' members of ten years are Dylan Howe, the son of YES mainstay Steve Howe.
Steve, saxophonist Gilad Atzmon and frontman Derek the Draw. The gig starts at 7pm. Tickets cost £16. Call 523001 or visit
