Fans of the Leamington band Kanute do not have long to wait to hear their debut album.
They are releasing Standing Room Only on June 29 and the album will be available to buy on their website.

It will include the single Monkey Lullaby.

Kanute was formed after a chance meeting between singer-songwriter Rachel Gray and established music producer Rob Overseer at a recording studio three years ago.

Their influences include Portishead, Massive Attack and The Cure.

The band played their first gig at the Jug and Jester in 2007 during the Superconnected event.

Appearances at the Herbert Gallery, Escape Bar and The Isle in Coventry followed.
