The London Symphony Orchestra is coming to Warwick Arts Centre next Saturday (December 12) for a special pre-Christmas gala concert.
Led by musical director Valery Gergiev, the musicians will perform Pavane Pour une Infante Défunte and Bolero by Ravel, Stravinsky's Jeu de Cartes, Strauss's Oboe Concerto and Jeux by Debussy.

Gergiev, who has been with the orchestra for two years, will give audience members an opportunity to hear why the group – recently chosen by Gramophone Magazine readers as one of the top five orchestras in the world – is regarded so highly by so many.

Tickets to the concert, which starts at 8pm, cost from £20 to £45.

Tickets to a pre-concert conversation between Gergiev and a member of the orchestra at 6.45pm cost £2.
