South Warwickshire art gallery Compton Verney has been chosen as one of 18 museums and galleries in England to recieve a share of £700,000 funding from Arts Council England’s Destination Development Fund.

The gallery near Kineton has been given £89,631, which will be spent on re-displaying its Chinese collection in a way that is more accessible and engaging for visitors. Compton Verney’s director Dr Steven Parissien said: “This generous gift will ensure that we can continue to share our passion for art with as many people as possible.”

The collection will go on display from December 2014 to March 2015. To find out more, visit www.comptonverney.org.uk
