Rob Butterworth and Phil Parkin helped their respective England teams to victory at the Foster's World 8-Ball Pool Championships in Blackpool.
Under-18 talent Phil, who lives in Kenilworth, secured the winning frame in the team final against Scotland.

Whitnash man Butterworth helped the under-21s to the title as they won all six of their matches.

In the individual event Rob reached the quarter-finals in the under-21 singles event, while Phil bowed out in the last 16 of the under-18 equivalent.

Phil Parkin arrived home to make a presentation at the Helping Hands Club, a voluntary organisation for special needs youngsters run by Greg Insell at Thorns Infant School.

The club ran a pool competition for all members, which was won by Andrew Allcock. The runner-up was Duncan Menzies.
