Royal Leamington's bowlers eased to victory against Welford at Victoria Park, winning five of the six men's triples for a 117-83 result.
The contest was close at first, with the hosts only one shot ahead after five and ten ends (23-22 then 54-53). But by the 15th they held a 91-70 advantage and they went on to complete a dominant triumph, drawing the one rink they failed to win.

ll Ward skipped Leamington's best rink, a 20-8 win with Dick Allibon and Bryan Rooke. His fellow skips were Colin Such 17-16, Ivor Harris 20-9, Bill Port 21-18, Nigel Ward 19-12 and Dick Williams 20-20.
Royal Leamington ladies were 80-62 winners across four rinks at Bilton last Thursday, when Maureen Tims starred by skipping Peggy Rickaby, Bridie Ward and Gloria Hensman to a 26-8 success.
Her fellow Spa skips were Binky Herbert 17-23, Jean Simmons 22-7 and Jean Smithard 15-24.
Leamington led 16-109 after the opening exchanged and were 35-25 and 57-41 to the good after ten and 18 ends respectively.
Whitnash made it back-to-back victories on Saturday with a 120-98 success against Three Spires at Heathcote Road. They raced to a 27-17 advantage over the opening five ends and never looked back, leading 62-38 at ten and 102-80 with 18 played.
Four of the six rinks went the hosts' way, the best being a 28-14 result for R Webb, R Sims, L Woodfield and skip Les Clarkson. Also winning for Whitnash were Bob Cook 20-7, Dave Harding 22-21 and Graham Cluff 21-13. Derek Owen and Grev Reader were defeated 10-22 and 19-21 respectively.

Home Guard. Colin Haywood skipped K Bly, E Vince and T Buick to a 28-8 rink win.
The visitors' other skips were Les Clarkson 12-19, Grev Reader 22-7, captain Bob Cook 15-18, Roy Evans 14-16 and Derek Owen 10-14. Whitnash led 24-15 after five ends and were 51-44 up with ten of the 18 complete.
Previously Home Guard had a good day out at the Royal Hospital in London, beating the Chelsea Pensioners 97-38. They gathered momentum throughout on their way to winning all four rinks, leading 19-11 after five ends and 48-24 with ten complete.
Home Guard's rinks were skipped by L Lount 17-8, D Crossfield 41-3, M Bailey 18-12 and B Fisher 21-15.
Meanwhile Whitnash ladies won 46-43 at Banbury Chestnuts on Saturday. They took two of the three triples, with Liz Saywell skipping Virginia McSharry and Doreen Webb to an 18-11 success.
Kath Morrissey's trio won 16-15 while Sue Owen and partners lost 12-17.
Lillington had a close game with Rugby at Lime Avenue on Saturday, when the visitors edged it 116-110 after taking four of the six men's rinks.
They were in front throughout and held a 58-47 advantage after ten ends.
Nick Simmonds skipped the hosts' best effort, a 27-17 win with Ted Swann, Tony Edwards and Ted Rheams. His fellow skips were Peter Williams 17-19, Dennis Lee 19-20, Nigel Roach 21-13, Dave Dunbar 13-21 and Malcolm Welch 13-26.
County Council Staff enjoyed a comfortable win at FISSC last Thursday, coming away with an 87-73 result.
They led throughout and finished well clear despite winning only two of the five rinks. Richard Sharp skipped the best of them, a 19-12 success with Hazel Birch, Metta Gronning and George Barber.
His fellow skips were Andy McKowen 11-14, Les Collins 12-20, Ron Reynolds 20-15 and Alex MacKintosh 12-25.
Warwickshire Vice-Presidents were edged out 109-105 by their Oxfordshire counterparts at the Stoke club on Sunday, when the visitors took four of the six rinks.
The Warwickshire skips were Dave Goodman 13-25, Don Keen 16-17, chairman Declan Casey 20-21, Gareth Willcock 19-12, Dave Longdon 17-12 and Brian Mace-Humphries 20-22.
Previously they pipped the London Bowling Secretaries' Association 112-107 at Victoria Park having won three of the six rinks and drawn another. Colin Such skipped the hosts' best rink, a 27-14 win with Roger Eaton, Martin Preedy and Ian Bassnet.
The other VP skips were Mike Wilkes 13-19, Gareth Willcock 22-16, Mike Gilks 6-29, Bill Edkins 25-10 and George Palmer 19-19.
