I would like to say a big 'thank you' to the owners and staff at the new fun Adventure Golf Course at St Nicholas Park in Warwick.
My family and I travelled up from Hastings for this event, as we love playing crazy, adventure and mini golf. It is a fantastic course, all the holes can be aced (holed in one) but they all take quite a bit of working out and it is definitely a skill course. It is fun to go round, the staff are very welcoming, it is very reasonably priced and there are loads of other attractions for all ages at the park.
The English Open Mini Golf Championships will be held at Warwick on July 14 this year and we will be back to compete in this all-day tournament.
If anyone wants to enter they can ask at the course or e-mail membership@minigolf.org.uk (players should normally be over 14 years old.)
We will be looking to get scores in the low 30s during the competition, so if you can do the course in less than 40 (no cheating) without specialist putters and special minigolf balls, you could be in with a chance of winning prize money. Enjoy playing.
