Leamington FC has had a better than average start.
An attacking display against Stourport Swifts would suggest we are on the right track.

Look a bit closer and some cracks are showing. The long ball to smaller than average strikers doesn't make a lot of sense, at best this is a 50-50 ball and possession should not be thrown away so cheaply.

Perhaps this tactic is to bypass a midfield which lacks the spark it had last season in Jon Adams. A passer in midfield must be a priority if we are to thrive in this league.

The enthusiasm and skill of Marcus Jackson shows we have replaced Jamie Towers with a future North Bank favourite, but can we afford to play the proven talents of Richard Adams and Avun Jephcott from the bench? Pete Lock
