It is obviously very difficult to fault Jason Cadden's record since he took charge of the team.
However I would bring into question his unsuccessful tactics against an admittedly very competent and skillful Stourbridge outfit.

When it became obvious that the Mackey/Marsden partnership wasn't working and with James Husband having, for him, a below-par game in midfield, why was it that he took so long to let Josh Blake off the leash and still didn't field the extremely promising Shay Morgan at all?

Or indeed utilise the ever-threatening presence of Martin Thompson? Instead they were left languishing unused on the bench.

In extra time and with, say, 20 minutes to go, if Mr Cadden had thrown caution to the wind and replaced Mackey, Marsden and Husband with Blake, Thompson and Morgan the very least it would have done is force Stourbridge to change what had been up until then their very successful defensive tactics, following which the outcome could have been so very different.

Finally, on a more positive note, can I just say that Marcus Jackson played superbly, in what was almost certainly his most outstanding game for the club to date.
