Thieves have broken into Leamington Football Club by making a hole in a toilet wall.

The culprits stole bottles of spirits and a small amount of cash from the club house in Harbury Lane between 7pm on Saturday and 10.15am on Sunday.

Police believe they gained entry to the boardroom, club room, kitchen and cellar by breaking through a brick wall in the men's toilets.

Anyone who has information about the burglary should call Pc Marie Holt on 451111 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
