Police investigating the death of a man who was found suffering from serious injuries in a Leamington street are not treating the incident as suspicious.

The 55-year-old was found lying on the ground in Tavistock Street at around 5.15pm on Friday and had multiple injuries.

The man, who is believed to have been from Stratford, was taken to Warwick Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who saw the man in a nearby multi-storey car park before the incident.

He has been described as wearing a dark suit, white shirt, black shoes and possibly a floral tie.

Anyone with information should call police on 415000.
