Thieves stole a trailer carrying empty boxes from a business in Baginton last weekend.

The 40-tonne device, which was stacked with empty perfume boxes, was taken overnight on Saturday from a secure haulage yard in Bubbenhall Road.

It was recovered in a layby on the A46 south of the Longbridge island on Sunday

Police would like to hear from anyone who saw anyone unloading the trailer in the layby between 1am and 7am.

Anyone with any information should call Pc Stuart Baker on 451111 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111
