Video: Warwick and Leamington MP plays tennis for charity

Warwick Boat Club members are still counting the money they raised for the Myton Hospices through their gruelling 24-hour tennis-a-thon earlier this month - with organisers saying the total is likely to be more than £5,000.

As we report in today’s Courier and Weekly News, 16 members played 850 games between them between 2pm on June 7 and 2pm on June 8, relying on isotonic drinks, coffee and determination to stay awake and active.

They were joined for an hour on the Saturday by Warwick and Leamington MP Chris White. Our photographer Morris Troughton captured him in action.
