Suspicious incident reported in Radford Semele

Police are reminding residents to report any suspicious behaviour after an incident in Radford Semele.

A suspicious incident was reported to the police after an unknown man approached a member of the public in Church Lane at around midday on Monday.

The man claimed that he had delivered a van in the nearby area and had left his phone and wallet inside the van, and so had no transport and/or means of contact.

The man appeared to be distressed.

The member of the public drove the male to Leamington and offered him some money.

The unknown man is described as a white male, 6ft tall, slim build with short dark hair, wearing a dark blue top. He also provided the member of the public with false details.

If anyone would like to speak with a member of their local Safer Neighbourhood Team in regards to crime prevention and/or personal safety advice, they should call the police on 101.

Also if anyone has any information about the suspicious incident they should call the police on 101 and quote incident number 312 of March 27.
