Slideshow: Bungee and bike stunts entertain crowds at Southam carnival
Thanks to grants from the town council and Cllr John Appleton, the carnival committee was able to lay on free entertainment and activities, including a climbing wall, bungee trampoline, bouncy castle and children’s Playbus.
In an outdoor arena, talented stunt performers from the Savage Skills company entertained audiences by showing off a range of bicycle tricks - and inbetween their shows, they let children have a go on their bikes and showed them how to perform a few tricks.

Steve Hoyle, treasurer of the carnival committee, said: “Considering the weather, we were very well supported. We are very grateful for the grants from the town council and Cllr Appleton, which helped to fund the free entertainment.”
