Rock Festival with a difference in Kenilworth
Warwickshire Geology Group is hosting its annual Festival of Geology on Saturday February 20 at the Senior Citizens' Club in Abbey End.
A variety of fossils and minerals will be displayed, including giant Jurassic ammonites.
Group chair Brian Ellis said: “It’s for ordinary folk who want to find out a bit more about the countryside over which they walk.”
Visitors can bring their own rocks and fossils along and have them identified by geologists.
The day lasts from 10am to 3pm, and entry is free.
